Optoma HD230X

Lovely bright image, very good gamma and the colours seem faithfully reproduced. Image is sharp without the jangly edges of some panel displays.

Some rbe is visible but not disturbing, ceiling mounting with Optoma bracket was very fiddly and its universal fitting system did not seem well suited to their own projector!

Optoma HD230X

Giant screen viewing @ small screen price Colours are amazing (I reccommend Cinema mode) Space saving The Big game just got bigger

2 x HDMI inputs may not be enough for everyone Daylight/Lights-on viewing in all situations except Direct Sunlight Some XBOX 360 games do suffer the odd random milisecond signal drop-out (extremely rare, but it does happen)

Optoma HD230X

Stunning image quality at a very fair price. Good strong colours.

Take care when planning your room layout as projector position can only be varied by approx 0.5m once you have selected your image size.

As other reviewers have mentioned, this product suffers from the Rainbow effect, Do not buy this product if you are bothered by the Rainbow effect, it will ruin your movie viewing!! My projector did arrive with a fault where a band of pixels to the...

Optoma HD230X

Very good compatibility, good menu with options to change and adjust picture like you want. Overall picture is very good, good colors and it is bright.

Well, even if the picture is VERY good, you will never have it like on your PC monitor or HDTV, because contrast (real contrast – physical) not good enough. I mean, the picture is not really vivid (I recommend only white screen or wall, it helps and...
