you may have to darken the room for day time viewing and if possible keep the lighting indirect with respect to the display area

this item has good contrast and brightness for the money it also has a good throw distance

the projector has an inconvenient lens angle no matter how I mount it.

No DVI, but not really a big deal. You can get DVI->HDMI converters for cheap (it's the same signal).
