Highly prone to rainbow effect, with light areas breaking up into red-green-blue rainbows. Low volume.

Toshiba TDP-PX10U DLP Projector

The Toshiba TDP-PX10U delivers a reasonably bright image and a high enough volume to make the built-in speakers worth using.

Highly portable. Bright image. Louder audio than most small projectors. Reads JPG files from USB keys.

Colors look a little dulled down. Rainbow effect, with bright areas breaking up into red-green-blue rainbows.

The Toshiba TDP-PX10U is a fairly typical sub-3-pound projector in most ways, but it packs a louder built-in audio system than most.
