Philips PicoPix PPX2055 review

Mini pocket projector that's bright enough for 50-inch presentations

Ultra-light ; Pocket-sized ; Bright enough for ambient light ; Easy set-up ; USB powered

Lacks HD sharpness ; Loudness ; Fingerprint-friendly chassis ; Max 50-inch images ; Mac compatibility issues

So does this pocket-sized projector offer enough to light up the market?

Super light weight champ!

This projector is amazingly small… not even the size of the palm of my hand. If you occasionally need to make PowerPoint presentations for work or like to show slides of family photos at family reunions, this projector will work great when connected to...

Cute, small and portable, useful for home use or holiday snaps

Only produced a clear image the size of a regular home TV - back light was not strong and was not visible in lit room. Says on the box that it projects up to 305 cm - this is not the case. Not suitable for pp presentations. Difficult to install onto...

Neat and stylish

I bought this as a travel projector for use when teaching in a venue that didn't have one. It is perfect for still pictures and powerpoint type presentations but not good for film because the film becomes jumpy and the sound and image don't work...

Remarkably small

I have never seen a Projector so small before, and it makes it very easy to handle and transport. While it performs adequately indoors it is still to be seen how well it illustrates an after dinner talk in a couple of weeks. As a non-techie I struggled...

The size is fantastic

I have to switch off lights to be able to see the projection which is not easy when you are giving a speech in the darkness ; Also the two usb ports are too close together and cannot be used easily if the laptop does not have two ports next to each other
