Toshiba MT-400 review

Toshiba keeps it neat and tidy

Well conceived and easily portable ; native 576p resolution

Slightly yellowish under some conditions ; noise levels could be lower ; lacks full HDMI input

In Theatre mode the MT-400 is impressively cinematographic. Overall, an excellent value model

Toshiba MT400

Toshiba claims that this budget DLP projector isn't really a budget model at all. We investigate the MT400.

Great standard def picture quality; decent features

Limited setup; noisy running (bright mode)

Toshiba TDP-MT700

Toshiba's MT700 was arguably the first affordable HD Ready DLP projector in the UK when it launched last April - and now that it's had its price discounted to just ?1,700 from an original launch price of ?2,500, it's also the cheapest!

Decent picture quality, good features count

DLP technology issues, black levels aren't the best
