One has to wonder why EA Sports bothered picking up the license to Arena Football if they were going to show the license such contempt. Rather than treating it as a worthy franchise, it seems little goes into the title and EA bought the rights simply...

Umm… I think they got all the team names right. So, there’s that

The game is clunky and outdated ; Too many “magic plays” and nonexistent defensive AI ; The graphics lack solid collision detection

There’s simply no reason to buy this game until EA Sports puts forth a more serious effort at making it playable and fun.

For the second year in a row, I have had a lot of fun with EA's fledgling Arena Football series. There is no denying that Arena Football: Road To Glory has a bit more to offer than last year's debut – but not enough really to warrant a second purchase...

Quirky rules make for unique experience; telemetry system; unique vibe from no play-by-play announcers

Rules take some getting used to; graphics and audio a bit bare; lack of game modes; lack of online players

The Arena Football League is a lot like the NFL's little brother. While trying to be different, the teams ultimately get the wannabe backups and washed up veterans the NFL doesn't want.
