Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3

The Dragon Ball Z: Budokai series always seemed to start off as a GameCube game that was designed as nothing more than a lure to get DBZ fans to buy stuff. It was quickly padded out with more and more games, with even more for the GBA. While the GBA...

Graphics ; Improved gameplay

Still very simplistic at times ; Appeals mostly to DBZ fans

My opinion of the DBZ games seem to be changing. I appreciate the series, but have always felt that the games are boring. Now, they're at least well done, even if a little simplified for a true hardcore game.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 Review

Another game with less than stellar gameplay, but a huge license to generate sales. Joy.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 is a game created solely for the fans. If you're a fan of DBZ and you enjoyed the first two games in the series, you'll probably enjoy this one as well. However, if you're looking for a fighting game that's even halfway decent,...

DragonBall Z: Budokai 3 on Playstation 2

One step forward two steps sideways…

Audio falls short due to a severe lack of audio. Tutorials and most story sequences are entirely text-based and once again Cell has returned with his bag of voices. He starts a fight in his first stage, yet during his character intro he uses his...

Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3

Atari and Dimps finally break the fan barrier, unleashing a Dragon Ball that few can resist.

Over-the-top fight effects; solid teleport counters; fantastic character designs

No online multiplayer; occasionally spotty sound effects; slideshow story elements
