kids like it

Not the best graphics, but plenty of technology for the kids to have fun, and cheaper than the newest games out

not very groovy just average.

I got Eye Toy Groove several months ago when I got it in a bundle pack with the eye toy. My main reason for getting it was to use it for DDR Extreme. After playing some of groove I have to say if you're into dancing game then DDR Extreme is a lot...

not a bad dance game

not a great one either

EyeToy Groove Review. Jane Fonda for the 00s

Groove is a dance game and is the first "real" / "full length" game from Sony for the Eye-Toy on PS2.

Takes 2 minutes to learn, tones up under-arm jiggle. FUN

Takes awhile to load (waits between songs), no legs involved, good bra required

Creative use of motion capture camera to play games, great for parties

Causes kids (and sometimes adults!) to argue over who is next

Cool Gadget, But A Little Ahead of It's Time

Sony's Eye Toy is a camera with some sort of motion sensor, allowing you to play games controlled by your body and hand movements instead of a regular controller. While this is a nifty idea, in reality the Eye Toy provides limited fun factor.

Innovative concept

Limited by technology

Fun to play, easy to set up, great potential

It's about time that someone has come up with a new way to play video games on a console. Sony's EyeToy for PlayStation 2 consoles places you in the game, literally.

Easy to set up, kids and adults have fun

Camera can be confused by room decorations and inadequate lighting

EyeToy? Do Not Even Think of Purchasing Unless....

Remember a decade ago when we were all assured that "virtual reality" was the wave of the future? It never really happened, did it? Sure, there are some arenas where virtual reality is a huge plus- flight simulators come to mind- but for the most part...
