"Damn, this game is huge!"

All that said, the largest reason why this isn't a fully complete review is not because of the lack on online play, itself a significant omission in current racing titles. No, the biggest reason itself was that due to the unlocked nature of the game,...

Gran Turismo 4

In reviewing Gran Turismo 4, one must harken back to some of history's greatest achievements: the Great Wall Of China, the Pyramids, the Mona Lisa, the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, et cetera. All of these things have one common denominator. They are...

Gran Turismo 4

The Gran Turismo series really does not need an introduction. Between the original PlayStation console and PlayStation 2, Gran Turismo has established itself as the king among kings of racing games. The throne for best racing game was GT's for the...

Conclusion:This game is just an amazing experience. Sony also offers it with a Driving Force Pro for $130. I did not test the wheel, so I cannot say if it adds or detracts from the experience. I definitely recommend this game for racing aficionados....

Gran Turismo 4

When a game is this good, it's not easy being hard on it. But considering everything that was promised, and the fact that the game came up short on at least two of the most-anticipated, lusted-after items – it's also hard NOT to be hard on it. I'm...

Over 700 cars from over 80 manufacturers worldwide makes this the biggest GT ever ; Over 50 courses – highest total ever ; Over 65 songs in the soundtrack ; New GT Director/B-spec mode adds a new twist and even more depth ; New “mission races” are a...

Even after a one-year delay – no online mode ; Still no damage-modeling ; Hit-or-miss opponent AI ; More licenses to earn and more tests to earn them equals … more frustration ; Not even one song from Toby Keith? Doesn’t Polyphony Digital watch NASCAR?...

Okay, yes, there’s no online mode and no damage modeling. But there’s also way more depth than ever before and the game is prettier, sexier and more photorealistic than any previous Gran Turismo. No other racing title comes close. It’s more of what...

Gran Turismo 4

There's a monolithic weight of expectation surrounding this game, as much as Half Life 2. Some games come with so much baggage; so much anticipation that is seems almost odd to be here now simply talking about the final game itself. There's also that...

Well, there it is. An amazing game in so many ways. And if all you want to do is worship automobiles though Photo mode or blaze around in one of a kind con-cept cars in locals you’ll spend a lifetime visiting this game is a A+ 100% best awesome! But...

Gran Tursimo 4

Is it the best of the best, or overrated iguana crap? Find out in my exclusively late review.

How many times can I say it? Gran Turismo 4 is the best-of-the-best, the cream-of-the-crop, top-shelf, restaurant-quality, and totally unequalled. You wonââ'¬â"¢t find a more engaging, more rewarding, more satisfying driving sim than Gran Turismo 4.

While cruising Gran Turismo 4's real global courses, on all types of terrain, and in all types of weather, you'll encounter over forty licensed musical tracks. These tracks range from James Brown to The Crystal Method to Jeff Beck; and slideshow music...

Gran Turismo 4 Review for the PS2

Heaven on wheels.

Looks amazing; Hours and hours of racing...; Too many pluses to list

Still no crash damage; No online component

Crash damage is also something we've been clamoring for. As it stands now, running into another car has all the impact of throwing a marshmallow against a pillow. It just doesn't make sense for a title that invests so heavily in realism to let you hit...
