Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

Platform: PlayStation 2, Genre: Action Games, ESRB Rating: M for Mature

High-quality graphics and audio create an immersive environment, challenging situations require some thought in order to maintain stealth, multiple ways to play each level increases replay value.

Awkward camera angles, lengthy cut scenes sometimes break the rhythm of game play, radio chatter inane at times.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater takes stealth action gaming to a new level of realism with a focus on jungle survival skills and close-quarters combat. A complex storyline and high amount of gore make this M-rated game definitely not for children.

Hardcore Snake fans will be delighted with all of the bonus content that is available right from the beginning of the game. Some of the material like facial camouflage and more than 20 new uniforms are more window dressing than gameplay features, but...

Well, here it is, my first Christian Centered Game Reviews. I do believe that someday videogames will become what can be considered art. I don't think we are there quite yet, but the Metal Gear Solid series is the closest we have so far. No other games...

It took me 21 hours and 30 minutes to beat the game. That is long for this type of game. Once the story is revealed, some players will want to start the journey over again to catch the things they've missed. With hard and extreme difficulty settings in...

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

After the "controversy" that surrounded Metal Gear Solid 2, I had to wonder if Hideo Kojima and crew would be able to return as the premier developer for the PS2. This was not to say that MGS2 was a bad game, but the major plot twist and overuse of...

If you're a fan of the series, you need to own this title. It takes the quality gameplay from the second game and vastly improves it, while taking the better story pacing from the first game in mind when providing the lengthy tale that really involves...

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

Solid Snake is back in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Read our Australian review - guaranteed not to have any cheap double entendres about hiding snakes in bushes (apart from that one).

Outstanding graphics and sound ; Engrossing storyline ; Interesting new additions with camouflage and injury systems ; You play as Snake for the whole thing

Camera system needs to evolve ; None too subtle about its ‘cinematic’ leanings ; You’ll be watching as much (if not more) as you're playing
