Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (Wii)

Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is Midway's attempt to take most of the stuff that has appeared in a Mortal Kombat game since Deadly Alliance was released back in 2002 and mash it all into one big game. It is a send-off of sorts of the current fighting style...

Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (Xbox)

The goriest fighting game series around returns for another bout in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, which is the first game in the series to let you create your own character as well as your own finishing moves. However, these good-in-theory ideas aren't...

The game will offer eight player online (or up to four-player splitscreen) racing with Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Bo'Rai Cho, Jax, Raiden, Kitana, Mileena, Baraka, Cyrax and Johnny Cage making up the field. Like any good kart racing game, each character will...

Flawed victory.

Every MK character ever, 63 in all ; Improved combat system</i ; Robust create-a-fighter ; Wii classic and GameCube controller support

Wii controls not ideal for genre ; Create-a-fatality seems a bit of a waste ; Not a very good deal considering other versions

The two things I loved about Mortal Kombat:1. Good story, especially seeing all the unique endings for each character and how some of them relate and guessing what will become canon by the next game.2. Cool and unique Fatalities. Therefore, I LOVED...

Mortal Kombat: Armageddon Review

Mortal Kombat uppercuts the Wii.

Even though it lacks an abundance of new content, its Wii-sensitive control set-up and additional content do enough to keep the blood pumping -- fighting fans will find bloody satisfaction with Mortal Kombat: Armageddon.

Mortal Kombat: Armageddon

Mortal Kombat: Armageddon marks the last installment of the series for current gen (and Wii) hardware. As a result, MK fans and Midway alike hoped this would be the end-all-be-all for the franchise. While it doesn't quite reach that standard, it does...

All in all, Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is a flawed fighting, racing, and adventure game that never ceases to provide enjoyment in spite of its flaws. After the previous two 3D MKs left bad tastes in my mouth, I didn't expect to have much fun with this...
