NBA Live 2001 (PlayStation 2)

Pretty much every other review of NBA Live 2001 for the PlayStation 2 gives it low ratings. I really don?t understand why, although I am writing this from the viewpoint of a new player. I?ve not played any of the other NBA Live games, or any other...

Is this game a Winner or a Loser you decide

In my point of view I see this game a winner. This has to be the best basketball game for ps2. The graphics are tremendous. I mean you have just awesome game modes you can play with. For example you got one on one, season, play off, exhibition. I mean...

Outstanding graphics

There are no good codes

Is it better than the others?

Is it better then the others you ask yourself. Yes and no. In my point of view I think only 1 thing is better and that's the graphics the graphics are tremendous. Other than that nothing has change yeah you can play one on one but that isn't really...

This game will BLOW you away with it's outstanding graphics

First of all playstation 2 creams Playstation 1 when it comes to graphics. In this game you can experience real life action and real life looks. What i mean by this is the players on this game look and play real, and for once they have jordan on the...

Graphics are life like. Looks like their the real players

Really not much of a difference between this and the other nba live games

Same Name, Same Game

I must be one of the most naive people on the face of the earth. Am I not the only one who religiously buys the next NBA Live game every year thinking it's going to be something different from the previous year? I should have known better than that....

Great graphics and sound, many options to choose from, and a great soundtrack

but the same ol' NBA Live game play with minimal additions

Maybe next year

Let me start off by saying that I play on Superstar level, so what problems and annoyances I find could possibly not be found on easier levels.

Most realistic game to date

Often annoying

EASports . . . Still the King but . . .

NBA Live 2001 from EASports for the Playstation2 platform is very good, and is undoubtedly the best NBA game available on the market but it is not great. I love EASports and have for the last decade faithfully purchased every major sports game they...

Graphics, gameplay, statistical tracking

Shooting percentage is low, often miss dunks, FT shooting is very easy

NBA Live 2001

NBA Live 2001 has its ups and downs. First off the graphics are much better than they have ever been before. However they seem to slow the game down just a little tiny bit, not too noticeable. Second, it is harder to hit shots when you're not at the...

good graphics, good game play, hard to hit shots

Graphics take up some of the game play

NBA Live PS2: Maybe Next Year

This is a hard review to write as I have given this game every chance in the world to become a favorite of mine. I have been playing the NBA Live series since it was called Lakers vs. Celtics. So I've played just about every incarnation of the EA...

Graphics are above average

Many other things of the game are simply average
