With the change to complete 3D, DoD takes a slight hit in the visual department, due to everything being real-time. Still, there's a lot to like, thanks to diverse environments, enough enemy variety, and the boss battles which become spectacles in...

Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams

Demons, they just won't go away.

On the subject of annoying: the story manages to be as epic as promised, but contains far too many clich's and cheesy lines to be taken seriously. Even so, it's not unwatchable. The cutscenes are beautiful and, in general, the story acts as an...

Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams Review

While the latest game does offer some compelling gameplay and slick cinematics, it could have used a little more spit and polish in the eye candy dept.

Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams Review

Capcom continues to dish out the hits with another great addition to the Onimusha series.

But the fact that the formula has changed so much and yet still remains so dedicated to its source is reason enough to celebrate. Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams is a terrific addition in the series and will hopefully lead to some further signifying changes...

Onimusha: Dawn Of Dreams Review for the PS2

The sharpest blade in the drawer.

Multiple characters; Cool customization; Manual camera; Great delivery

Same basic formula; A.I. and enemies need an upgrade

Ultimately, that's small potatoes in a pretty big stew. Though the formula for destruction is basically the same, there's enough new material here to please fans of the series and newcomers alike. Who knew this old samurai could cut so deep?
