While the latest game does offer some compelling gameplay and slick cinematics, it could have used a little more spit and polish in the eye candy dept.

Onimusha definitely has what it takes to be a fun game, but I think the developers dropped the ball in a couple of areas - especially with the absence of any kind of multiplayer, and the lack of graphical enhancements. Not that I'm saying the game...

Capcom continues to dish out the hits with another great addition to the Onimusha series.

But the fact that the formula has changed so much and yet still remains so dedicated to its source is reason enough to celebrate. Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams is a terrific addition in the series and will hopefully lead to some further signifying changes...
