You Frag Me, And I';ll Blow Your Brains Out

While rummaging around my local Wal-Mart's clearance bin, I found two games for the PS2 that looked like fun and since Grand Theft Auto 3 was sold out for the holidays, I went ahead and purchased Twisted Metal Black and Quake III Revolution. The...

levels get repetitive and boring, no story

Lights, Camera, Revolution

By no means is Quake III:Revolution meant to be a substitute for a good Lan Party, but for a quick Single Player romp it suffices nicely. QIII:R is a port of Quake III: Arena. Quake III is the third installment in the venerable Quake series from Id. It...

Fun New Game Types, Dual Shock Makes It Bearable, Great PS2 Graphics

Quake barely registers a tremor

QuakeIII: revolution is already the third first-person shooter for the PS2. So, how does it stack up to time splitters and unreal tournament?

Nice looking game. Many levels and good weapons

Criminally long load times. Limited options. No replay for single players

$50 Well Spent

Timesplitters on the PS2 now has a solid competitor. Ever since the Playstation 2 launch, Timesplitters has dominated Unreal Tournament since it was a far superior game. Now that Quake 3: Revolution has come out Timesplitters should have some competition.

Fast action, lots of guns, GIBS

Matches are sometimes very short. Limited statistics. Load times

Revolution? More like Revolting.

I know that my title alone has already doomed me to a ton of hate mail, but let's cut through all the bashing and get to the reasons.

Great Graphics. Very smooth. Incredible Controls

Zero story.Boring level design.Mindless gameplay

Fraggin' Fantastic!

It's fragging time! I fragging bought this fragging game, and it's fragging awesome! That is to say that it's pretty cool. Quake has been with us for some number of years now, and lately the series has been getting better and better. In fact Quake's so...

Good gameplay, music, and fun

Slow load times, not enough enemies, and no online multiplayer option

Not quite a revolution, but still a solid game

Quake evolved from ID softwares "Doom" to become the best known name in 1st person shooting on the PC. Now, the Playstation 2 gets a taste of all the noise Quake 3: Arena has made with its own Quake: Quake 3 Revolution.

Fast moving, action packed, fans of Quake will love it

Miserable load times, simple (yet well done) graphics
