Review: Singstar Queen (PS2)

A word, before we begin, again: as Singstar Queen is functionally identical to the billion other Singstar games before it, and conceptually identical to Singstar ABBA, so too will the review be mostly identical. There's no reason to re-write a review...

Sadly, I lack an appropriate musical outro for this game, so let’s just sum it up quick-like: Singstar Queen is about as good as every other Singstar game, ever, and if you like Queen it’s a fine collection of their more popular songs that should see...

Singstar Queen

Freddie might not be around anymore but the spirit of Queen has not disappeared and still very present in the musical landscape. London Studio, home of the Singstar franchise, knew that the time for them to immortalize the legendary group had to come....

Nice menus and navigation just like in previous Singstar games ; Both Queen and Singstar fans will rejoice

Singing as Freddie is really challenging ; Five tracks less than the PS3 version ; No microphone bundle for it

Yes, the Playstation 2 version has five songs less than the Playstation 3 version. I really wished for once, the PS2 version offered the same amount of songs than its PS3 counterpart. At least, they didn't cut the really good songs

Disc won't work

Tried a number of times to play this but my PS2 (slim) just keeps coming up with disc read errors... all my other games, including Singstar Legends and Singstar Abba, work, so I think it's safe to assume it's the disc that's faulty. Shame, I was...
