Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Review

The third game of the Splinter Cell series.

Overall the game is a fun, extremely enjoyable stealth-action game from Ubisoft. You can find it at your local gaming bargain bin and it's worth it. Pick it up and try it out. If you like stealth you'll love this.

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory - Playstation 2 (PS2) Reviews - The Armchair Empire

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is the third installment of Ubi Soft's popular stealth action game. The new game in the series has undergone some drastic changes offline, but remains relatively the same online

Excellent visuals; A nice variety of environmental interactions; Gameplay feels less restricted; Navigation through the environments is much easier

Too many load times; Co-op mode is enjoyable, but way too short; Online play hasn't seen much change; Would be nice if all the lights in the environment could be shot out

Splinter Cell Chaos Theory

Without a doubt the best the stealth genre can offer.

Concentration can be necessary depending on the goals you and your teammate set for yourselves when playing cooperative. Since it is possible to run in guns blazing in a Swat team capacity (low concentration) or sneak around the entire map using...

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Review

In case I havent made it painfully obvious, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is a truly remarkable game. The single player and co-op campaigns will keep you occupied for awhile, but if you have the PS2 Ethernet Adaptor and an internet connection, the...

A long time coming and well worth the wait, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is the pinnacle of the stealth action genre. To say it's gorgeous in an understatement, especially considering the real time complexity of skulking through dynamic...

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Review for the PS2

The spy who fragged me.

Incredible environments; Good co-operative play; Good versus mode

but not improved; Disappointing graphics; Single player is more of the same; Ubiquitous plot

But it still sounds great. The ambient effects are varied and clear, the voice acting is superb, and the score, composed by Amon Tobin, is hip and catchy but also understated and mysterious " perfect for a Splinter Cell.

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory review

One might take note to the fact that it took Bungie longer to put out a single game (Halo 2) than it took Ubisoft’s team behind Splinter Cell to release two (almost three) high-quality stealth-action titles. At a rate of about once a year, Sam...

Overall, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory won’t disappoint fans of the series and newcomers alike - it is very similar (almost disappointingly similar) to the previous games, but the new alterations and additions (cooperative mode) and sheer...

Atari Anthology: Old School Video Games

I grew up when the Atari 2600 game console was at its most popular. It seemed like every kid I knew either had one or wanted one. It didn’t hurt that you could play one (or, more the case, watch as other, bigger kids played) at department stores ...

A bevy of Atari classics from the 1980s, the good ol' days of video games

Upon further review, the good ol' days weren't all that good
