Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II (Wii)

The original Star Wars: The Force Unleashed buzzed with potential, but poor production values and the madness of random remote waggling muted the glow. With Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, the power of the Force has finally begun to manifest itself...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II (Xbox 360)

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed had its share of flaws, but it still provided a healthy dose of saber-slicing, Force-flinging action that made it fun to destroy the Wookiees, Jawas, and stormtroopers that got in your way. The Force Unleashed II provides...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Xbox 360)

There are a number of thrilling moments lurking in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed--enough of them that you'll likely be disappointed that it drifts so often from the things it excels at. Amazing displays of power and destruction are interspersed with...

Star Wars: Force Unleashed

The force is strong with this one. If you're a Star Wars geek (like me) or just a gamer who loves great action games (also like me) then chances are...

Great story that fits into the main canon well ; Force powers make you feel like a real bad ass ; An overall blast to play

Some troublesome camera issues ; AI can be occasionally flakey ; Some targeting issues

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2

The Force Unleashed, when it was released back in 2008, was generally held as the ultimate fantasy simulator, as it finally let everyone be the Jedi badass they had always longed to be, wielding ridiculously powerful abilities and batting aside foes...

The Force Unleashed II is a big disappointment as far as sequels go, and the game doesn’t really live up to any of the promises that were made in terms of plot or content. We were told that Starkiller’s return would be justified, explained and...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 Review

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II is a sequel that picks up right where the first one left off, despite the questions surrounding the fate of Starkiller. As the story picks up, Darth Vader hovers over his Jedi apprentice as he makes a crucial decision...

That said, this game is still a superb weekend rental for the Xbox 360. While The Force Unleashed II doesn’t push new boundaries in enemy confrontations or replay value, it’s still a fun weekend romp, with plenty of enemies to kill and a great...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II Review

Starkiller is unleashed on unsuspecting Stormtroopers for a second time.

Graphics get a nice shot in the arm; Force powers are fun without being overpowered

Overly long boss battles; nearly nonexistent plot; same old generic action as the last game

Short games aren't immediately terrible, but even the short ones ought to have something to justify their length as much as the long ones. TFU2 definitely continues the story of Starkiller, but still barely does anything with him. His goals are to...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Xbox 360) Review

The next chapter in the Star Wars saga comes to life on the Xbox 360!

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is an incredibly fun game that gives you the power to do more with the Force than you've ever been allowed to do before. While playing as the lead character, you unravel a new story in the Star Wars universe. However, the...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

The venerable Star Wars saga makes its debut on current-generation consoles with The Force Unleashed, giving players the power to slice, dice, fry, and fling about helpless Stormtroopers with their midi-chlorian enhanced might. The design team felt...

The audio is fantastic, and the graphics will impress more often than not. The fun combat system and epic story are moderately spoiled by a poor targeting system, bad enemy AI, and some glitches.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Review

Star Wars is one of those franchises that has impacted the general society for over three decades and has no plans of stopping its freight train anytime soon. The most recent attempt is a game from LucasArts titled The Force Unleashed, which takes...

The basic premise of The Force Unleashed is one that fans have been begging to experience since the first sighting of the all-powerful Darth Vadar. The game starts out giving gamers the chance to actually step into those black boots and at the same...

Product Specifications

The next chapter in the Star Wars saga, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, tells the story of Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice, a mysterious figure trained by the menacing Sith Lord, to hunt down the last of the Jedi. Set in the dark times between Episodes III and IV, the story is both a continuation of the prequel trilogy - exploring the aftermath of Order 66, which called for the immediate execution of all Jedi, and focusing on the continued rise of Darth Vader - and a direct bridge to the Original Trilogy. The Force Unleashed will forever change the fate of the Galaxy and explain key plot points that directly lead into events in Star Wars: A New Hope.
