The best game around for 35 bucks

To be honest, Swing Away golf would not originally have been apart of my PS2 collection of games if I had just read about it in reviews and seen screenshots. I got it as a present for Christmas and decided to give this baby a spin. Swing Away Golf is a...

Great graphics, fun to play

The darn approach wedge

Great if you LOVE Hot Shots!

I have to admit I am not an AVID game player. In fact, I've had the PS1 and PS2 with a VERY limited selection of games. I am not a RPG or a shoot 'em up type player. I play when I am VERY bored, that's seldom or when I've got friends over for a game.

Good animation, fun to play, for all ages

Bad story, not a REAL golf simulation

My Wife Loves The PS2 Now!!

I wanted to write and tell everyone about Swing Away Golf for the Playstation 2. I rented this game because my wife wanted to play a golf game. I am not a big fan of golf games, but I do love sports games, so I agreed to give it a shot. We went right...

Great golf without the sun burn

Swing away golf is in my opinion THE best golf game ever to be released for a gaming console.

One of the best console golf games of all time

Caddies need a wider range of comments to choose from

Don't Swing Away, Swing Forward to this golf title

In the world, there are usually two kinds of preferences when playing golf titles. You can enjoy playing an authentic title with official golfers and by-the-book rules and regulations. Or you can be the type with some screw-ball antics like goofy...

A lot to unlock, plus a never-ending course generator

Rediculous characters, and just mediocre visuals that lack "emotion

Swing Away Golf: Have we seen this before?

Swing Away Golf borrows a lot from Hot Shots Golf and brings home an enjoyable and moderately addictive golf experience that almost anyone can enjoy. Just like Hot Shots Golf, gameplay is relatively easy to pick up and there's a fair amount of hidden...

Easy to pick up and play; multiple modes of play

Bad voiceovers; what's with the weird story

The Green is My Oyster

I picked up this game for the soul reason that i wanted a game that me and my father could play together and seeing that Madden was a bit much for him i thought that this would be the way too go...little did i know that i might actually end up enjoying...

Let the big dog eat

?Is this a Hot Shots clone or what?? That's what my friend said when we first saw this game at the store. Well, it's almost like Hot Shots. The cartoon-like quality for the courses and characters is there, along with unlocking hidden characters and...

Original presentation and modes

Cartoon-like

Swing Away Golf: "Oh My Goodness...It's In The Hole!"

That's supposed to be Bill Murray's character in Caddyshack, as best as I can remember the line. It's where he's decapitating the roses with a garden hoe, pretending like he's golfing.

Actually makes golf fun. Interesting caddies, beautiful environments

Maybe a little TOO cute, character rendering is a bit off in the joint areas

Swing towards this game.

This is the funnest game you will ever play. It is a great party game and fun for a single player. You can choose up to 7 great animated golfers to take you through a round of 18 holes. The Normal Mode is fun for picking up and shooting a few holes....
