Tekken 5 (PlayStation 2)

It seems hard to believe, but the Tekken series has been around for about a decade now. In that period, Tekken became one of the premier 3D fighting games in arcades, but its real fame was found at home. The PlayStation, and later the PlayStation 2,...

I would like to tell you thatTekken 5 is awesome.

It's a worthwhile addition to any fighting fan's game library. I just wish Jinpachi wasn't in it.

Tekken 5

Tekken 5 brings the series back to the forefront as a simply superb brawler of superhuman proportions.

If you're into 3D fighting games, you're probably into Tekken--or at least know of its importance as a benchmark for the genre (that happened to wane on the last iteration of Tekken 4). Tekken 5 brings the series back to the forefront as a simply...

Tekken 5 Review for the PS2

Fight amongst yourselves.

Beautiful graphics; Solid fighting engine; Variety in characters; Comes with three other Tekkens

No online play; Reduced training mode; No compelling new mechanics

We couldn't agree more.

Tekken 5

Namco's latest slugfest redeems a flagging series and reminds us why Namco arcade ports are the best in the business.

Fantastic fighting; huge, great cast; technically flawless; super extras

No online play; A.I. nothing special

Tekken 5

Tekken 5 is built on a new game engine, designed to render more detailed characters and environments, and much smoother, more natural-looking animations. The game's control scheme has been tweaked from earlier versions, in order to accommodate the new mov

The best fighting game for the PS2.

Overall, i think it is the best PS2 fighting game. Also, if you gotten the Hori Arcade Fighting Stick and Tekken 5 bundle with extras for only $80 at ebgames... you are set. (this bundle is no longer availible... i preordered mine way long ago )

customizable characters, more characters than tekken 4, many modes to play, good graphics

if you are noob, it will take you a while to be very good at it
