007 Legends

You're probably wondering why Craig took Connery's place. The likeliest explanation that I can provide, without researching, is that including the likenesses of every Bond actor would have skyrocketed the game's budget beyond a reasonable amount....

A cast of five famous Bond villains conspire against you in 007 Legends, but the uninspired gameplay is your true nemesis.

Local, split-screen multiplayer mode can be fun

Horrible stealth mechanics ; Punch-Out-style boss fights are dull ; Lackluster presentation ; Story is hard to follow if you're unfamiliar with the movies

To say that 007 Legends is a disappointment is to be kind, especially after Eurocom's commendable efforts with last year's GoldenEye 007: Reloaded. Legends could have been a memorable release that reminds us why we've loved Ian Fleming's famous spy for...

James Bond."

Four-player splitscreen

Feels like a cheap Call of Duty; Broken stealth; Parts of the movies are completely different or missing

I assume that double-Os 1 through 6 died horribly painful deaths and that Eurocom is trying to give me some sense of that misery in 007 Legends. While a tie-in to this November's new Bond movie was too good to resist, I'm disappointed that the...

While playing the excellent GoldenEye 007: Reloaded, my thought process was as follows: “For an HD remake of a classic game, this is pretty damn good. …but Eurocom had best upgrade big time if they want a new, current Bond entry to be taken seriously.”...

The Ugly: “Mr. Fleming’s rolling over in his grave right about now.”

As far as tributes go, this is like raising your champagne flute to toast someone and then using it to glass them in the eye.

007 Legends is not nearly as bad as some media outlets will have you believe. It does not desecrate the franchise, but it also does nothing new. A million other shooters have already done this and many of them have done it better. The "Challenges" mode...

The annual Bond game is here to coincide with Skyfall. We find out if Bond delivers yet again.

Plenty of variety ; Local multi is fun

Poor production values ; Frustrating AI and checkpoints ; Tons of glitches ; Lag online is atrocious ; Not faithful to the license

00 is back - Step into Bond's shoes and relive moments from the past 50 years.

For everything that the game attempts to get right, it makes a garishly obvious mistake and just ruins the experience

007 Legends Review

007 Legends absolutely reeks of a rush job. It may have the look (loosely) but carries with it none of the heart, soul or charm of the world’s greatest secret agent.

Secondary objectives; Shotguns making bodies fly; Punch Out mini-game

Looks decidedly last gen; Sporadic gun accuracy; …. Long load times; Driving sequences; Tenuous links to the namesake films
