4 player co-op was awesome, perfectly captured Aliens atmosphere, great music, unbelievable authentic sound, original voice actors, fun multiplayer modes

AI is only worth on the last few levels with ultimate bad-ass mode, intolerable ending, dated graphics for FPS genre

It’s not game over for the Alien franchise; Love seeing the ammo counter run down on the pulse rifle; Fun crawling around as an alien

The visuals and repetitive environments; The too-much-of-a-reach story twist; Shooting down iron-sights; NPCs don’t die unless it’s scripted; In the future Marines still say ‘copaceticâ

Fun multiplayer ; Exploring locations from the films ; Meaty weapons

Flat, repetitive combat ; The aliens aren't even slightly scary ; Weak story, terrible dialogue

Great attention to detail by a team that clearly loves the original movie. Some effective scares and a welcome range of co-op and competitive multiplayer options

The gunplay is mediocre, the artificial intelligence weak, and the design linear and repetitive. Few gameplay innovations and underneath the atmospheric lighting the graphics aren’t very good

The whole idea was probably doomed from the start but this is a disappointingly slipshod effort, with a story campaign that somehow feels more old-fashioned than the decades-old movie it’s based on.
