Assassin's Creed Brotherhood - PS3 review at Thunderbolt Games

The Assassin's Creed franchise has come a long way in its three years. While the first game was a tremendous commercial success for developer and publisher Ubisoft, it met with a mixed critical reception and it wasn't until the second main instalment...

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

Even before its release, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood was the victim of utter scrutinization. Many knew the premise, but most wondered if the ideas present weren't more than fancy add-on content. Multi-player they said. You don't need to make an...

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

The Assassin's Creed games and I go back. When the first game launched in 2008, I took a bunch of heat for my review, calling it "dull, over complicated and boring." While the second game was a huge step forward, my review pointed to many of the same...

I'd love to see a cheat that allows for all weapons (even those from da Vinci) to be unlocked at the beginning. This would add a ton of variety and replayability to the main quest.

PS3 Review – Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

PlayStation LifeStyle reviews Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, the newest entry into the Assassin's Creed franchise from Ubisoft.

Considering that the first two Assassin's Creed titles offered trips to the "Animus" offering two completely different character experiences, many assumed that the third title in the series would offer a brand new ancestor for players to experience...

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Review

Step into the shoes once again of Ezio Auditore as he finishes the fight against the Borgia in the follow up to the award winning Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Since the game was launched over a year ago, a lot of fans were eager...

Hardcore fans who've been waiting for this game should not be disappointed from this latest offering from Ubisoft. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is sure to be one of the best games released this year. It may not be as unique as players will think it...

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood

It can be worrying when a sequel comes out as quickly as Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Especially since Assassin's Creed II was great. You needn't worry in this case though...

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Review

Ah, Italy. There's just something about it. Ubisoft goes to such incredible lengths to painstakingly recreate 1500 Rome and other cities that one is often tempted to sit and watch for a moment. The teeming masses of people going about their daily...

The Ugly: When suspicious guards lose track of you and go to return to their position, they become superhuman…kinda comical.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

Ezio returns for a Roman holiday in this stunning sequel.

Strong continuing story; an insane amount of collectibles; greatly improved combat; intense (and fun!) multiplayer

Rome looks a lot like the rest of Italy; multiplayer has a definite learning curve; cliffhanger endings drive me nuts

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Review

The Assassin Creed franchise has been a favorite of the GamePro staff from the very beginning. However, we had some misgivings about Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood due to its relatively short development cycle. Releasing just a short year after the...

Excellent and exciting campaign that introduces worthwhile new gameplay elements; Rome is well built and packed with content; online multiplayer mode is incredibly taut and a smashing addition

Leaves a lot of lingering questions unanswered; some texture pop-in issues and occasional odd animations

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (X360) Review

Minerva's obscure warning still haunts Desmond, but Ezio must build his army in spite of vague prophecies. Recruit allies, build your Assassins Guild, and take back Rome.

Assassin’s Creed II suffered no shortage of ‘wow' factor, though it's difficult to really describe the end of the game as anything but ‘wtf,' to quote Desmond. Not that the ending was bad, mind you, just utterly unexpected.

Product Specifications

Assassin's Creed is the next-gen game developed by Ubisoft that will redefine the action genre. While other games claim to be next-gen with impressive graphics and physics, Assassin's Creed merges technology, game design, theme, and emotions into a world where you instigate chaos and become a vulnerable, yet powerful, agent of change. The setting is 1191 AD. The Third Crusade is tearing the Holy Land apart. You, Altair, intend to stop the hostilities by suppressing both sides of the conflict. You are an Assassin, a warrior shrouded in secrecy and feared for your ruthlessness. Your actions can throw your immediate environment into chaos, and your existence will shape events during this pivotal moment in history.
