Assassin's Creed: Revelations

The main storyline, like AC: 2 and Brotherhood before it, is Ezio Auditore's. In the final chapter of his tale, Ezio heads off to Constantinople to find five keys to a mysterious library under Masyaf. These are a thinly veiled plot device to put the...

Assassin's Creed: Revelations

With eight games released so far, the Assassin's Creed series has always trod the fine line between necessary releases and money-spinning cash cows, not to mention comics and web-based spin-off movies. Unlike most however, the universe of the games has...

Review: Assassin’s Creed: Revelations

Like any experienced member of the Assassin Order, Assassin's Creed has only become better with each iteration, while building new features into its already steadfast framework. Revelations delivers on the later in its most aggressive fashion yet, but...

Assassin's Creed: Revelations Review

I seem to have backed myself into a corner here.

Constantinople; Satisfying end to Ezio and Altair; Questions actually answered; Deep rhythm of gameplay mechanics; Set design and missions layouts are superb; New multiplayer modes; Tons of customization; Gorgeous engine and beautiful soundtrack

But kind of retreading old ground; Still some left over; Despite some frame-rate hiccups

Ezio and Altair make graceful exits in Assassin's Creed: Revelations, another great historical adventure.

New movement options keep the platforming joyful ; Brotherhood recruitment has been nicely fleshed out ; Gorgeous, vibrant world with a lot to do ; Fantastic soundtrack ; Emotionally fulfilling ending

Tower defense isn't fun ; Desmond sections aren't fun ; Disappointing main story

The hook also allows you to reach out and grab walls as you fall--walls that would be out of reach in previous Assassin's Creed games. You can also buy parachutes and activate them in midair, which feels free and easy, like wafting downward on a cool...

Assassin's Creed: Revelations

Assassin's Creed: Revelations is upon us and Games Xtreme takes a look at the last in Ezio's story.

A truly fitting send off for Ezio and Altair. Revelations is a little shorter than Brotherhood but has a solid multiplayer component that expands beyond the previous title and offers a lot of new options.

The Good: Constantinople is an excellent new setting, bombs and hookblade add a layer of depth to combat and exploring, epic main missions, long asked questions finally answered, great storytelling and voice acting, superb visuals, amped up multiplayer
