Crysis 2

I'm just going to come right out and say it: I never played the original Crysis. I didn't have the super computer needed to run the game at a reasonable frame rate so if you're looking for an across-the-board comparison between the two titles, you...

Crysis 2 is more than just a pretty face. The single player campaign is well paced and at a running time of 9-10 hours is nearly twice as long as your typical shooter. Multiplayer draws heavy inspiration from the likes of Call of Duty and Halo (mostly...

Crysis 2

When Crysis first made its gaming debut in 2007, no one was prepared for the impact the first-person shooter would have on PC game, let alone the videogame industry at large. It was the first title to push hardware to its limits for the best possible...

Crysis 2

Crysis 2, as reviewed on Xbox 360, throws players into the fight fairly quickly with very little back story. Having never played the original I don't necessarily think this is a bad thing. New York has been ravaged from all sides. Martial Law is in...

Mind-blowing visuals ; Nanosuit powers offer unique experience ; Large Environments ; Decent campaign length

AI is inconsistent

Crysis 2 delivers on consoles. It offers fresh concepts to the oversaturated shooter genre with its large environments and variety the Nanosuit offers to exploration and combat. The story is interesting and offers a longer campaign experience than...

Crysis 2 Review

Crysis 2 does little to create new material in the genre, though it cobbles together disparate gameplay elements that do create a level of interest that another modern Middle East liberation sim can't.

Crysis 2 Review: The most modern warfare on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC

Alex Roth goes from the jungles of Crysis to the concrete jungle of NYC-set Crysis to to bring you a full review of the latest FPS on consoles and PC.

Crysis 2 may not be the new killer app, but its the complete package when it comes to shooters. It looks great, sounds great, and your varied and awesome powers make it so much fun to be the hero of this game. Uninspired multiplayer and a few bugs...

Crytek scales back its ambitions and achieves Crysis 2

Decent graphics (not close to being on par with the PC), the suit options add a nice twist to multiplayer

Uninspired, through and through

Crysis 2

There's no doubt about it, Crysis 2 is simply the best looking shooter we've ever laid our eyes on. With eye popping detail and crisp effects, the visual style of Crysis 2 is incomparable.?? Playing on a PS3 only makes things better with the inclusion...

I'm a huge fan of the stealth gameplay in Crysis 2, so the unlimited invisibility cheat in Crysis 2 is what sold the trainer for me. Being able to literally play to my heart's desire in the urban playground is intoxicatingly fun.

Crysis 2

A boundary-pushing shooter gets a little simpler but just as impressive.

The power balance feeds into multiplayer, which towers above the original Crysis' online game. It retains most of the solo game’s powers (cloaking, armor, etc.) and adds a now-standard experience system through which dedicated players can develop and...

Crysis 2 Review

This big, bold sequel offers an eerie vision of a city under siege.

Nanosuit and big levels offer plenty of flexibility ; Powerful depiction of a devastated city ; The second half is stuffed with awesome, memorable battles ; Good-sized campaign and full-featured multiplayer offer lots of lasting value ; Outstanding...

Poor AI detracts from the excitement ; Some annoying bugs ; The first few hours drag

The resulting firefights are outstanding and unpredictable. Crysis 2's variety comes not from one on-rails sequence after another, but from busy, open maps that constantly break up your line of sight and give you a reason to use both short- and...

Crysis 2 Review

First you get the Nanosuit, then you get the power...

Nanosuit makes you feel truly powerful; gorgeous visuals; streamlined controls; fun multiplayer

Some noticeable bugs; multiplayer can be unbalanced from time to time; no recap of the story so far

Crysis 2's shiny graphics are nice and all, but the Nanosuit is the true star of the show. Offering a true sense of power rarely seen in modern shooters, it helps to make this one of the most exciting games of the year.
