Darksiders 2 Review

After War comes Death in the game that breaks the 2012 drought.

Darksiders 2 Review

Darksiders II absolutely trumps the first game, which in itself was a work of masterful art, and leaves me hoping we don’t have to wait two years for the inevitable third game. One of the year’s best releases by far...

Giant new world beyond our own to explore; Visceral combat ; Deep micro-management system on par with the best RPGs; Currency and loot system is top-notch; Michael Wincott as Death was a perfect choice; Deeply rewarding narrative

Game-engine is beginning to show its age

Darksiders 2 review: Epic, brutal, ambitious - but still comes up short

Now I am become Death," goes the quote, "the destroyer of worlds. Er, and also of lava temples and ice caverns. Oh, and I share dialogue with giant magical Glaswegians who sell me stuff." As it turns out,

Thousands of armour pieces and weapons to loot ; A 30-hour story with a massive world to explore ; Customisation and skill trees lend RPG-lite elements

Convoluted combat requires blind speed over finesse ; Death moves at the speed of a Segway ; Platforming's functional but unimaginative

The Game Of The Year!!!"

This game is great, they really polished up darksiders and made it into aneven greater game with a larger world, more characters and A LOOT SYSTEM!! Loveit :-) A must have game, especially if you've played the first.
