Best RPG ever on console. Great replay also.

Uber, sick, PS3 best rpg ; You are going to die a lot, but that what makes this game so fun. For being an 30+ year old gamer it's old school rpg. I got new PS3 slim just for this game. I play it so much did not to YLOD my fat PS3. Level cap 712 got pvp...

One of the best games ever

Don't get this if you put easy mode or casual for your games.

You will not find this game disappointing. It's extremely difficult, but you really felt like you accomplished something every time you defeat a boss, or even just some trash mobs

No sequel yet

PS3 Classic

If you are looking to spend $15 for literally hundreds of hours of entertainment, this is it.

One of the best looking games for PS3 ; Best playing, one of the most responsive game ; CHALLENGING :)

A bit slow to start, gets good about 4 hours in ; NEVER use eggsaver shipping. Actually took the entire 7 days

Demon's Souls Playstation3 Game Atlus

I'm enjoying the difficulty of the game so far. Sometimes I get to a part that has notes from other players and I'm still not quite sure the best way to approach it until after I've been killed. I had this problem with the fire dragon on the bridge in...

Hard (yes this is a pro) ; Leave and read notes from other players ; Gameplay is addictive ; Looks and plays great

Seems no matter how far you've made it, you always start back at the beginning of the level. Cool at first but gets more difficult later ; Some areas available to newbs turn out to be death traps; hard to tell if you are capable of completing some...

Great buy at the value, you just need to have the patience to keep going.

It's kind of a pain in the booty how you need to be offline for world tendency events to go your way. If you want to acquire rare/unique items, consider playing offline, however you'll miss prior player's tips.

The game is really quite nice for what I surmise to be a sleeper hit. It affords you the opportunity to craft your character from the start to follow most RPG trends (magician, warrior, priestess...) ; Bosses are hard. Scratch that. Insanely hard. This...

It's really hard. Other reviews are accurate. If you have the patience and time to invest, buy away

I have read how people cry about invaders and how they have better gear but thats a joke.. Gear means almost nothing. Weapons are a dime a dozen, its how you upgrade / use them. you can go all melee or you can go all magic.. Its up to you. I was...

This game is AWESOME! As other posts have said, it is very hard for beginners and people who are on their second + time playing the game. The replay value is incredible seeing as everytime you beat the game you instantly restart at the beginning with...

Only con i found is that the armor is kind of bland on the stats they give like in other rpg's. *armor, resistance to elements* Other then that everything else seems fair enough to not be considered a con without seeming like you deserve to be the best...

One of the best action RPG's this decade

I've put over 200 hours into this game. It's about 50 hours for your first playthrough but you will want to keep playing it.

Very challenging, well thought out combat system that is unforgiving but very fair. You will die a lot, but when you pull off a tough spot you'll feel like you accomplished something - most games today lack this element

The same thing that makes it so good - the difficulty - can occasionally lead to some moments of frustration. In particular, the platforming elements in world 2-2 will make you curse at the screen

So'll love it!

Buy it. Unless you like a game that easy to breeze thru.

This game looks like your run-of-the-mill hack and slash RPG...then you die. Alot. And enjoy every minute of it. At least I do. The combat system is great. You really have to think about what you are doing, time your attacks, and defend yourself. Not...

You die. Alot. Steep learning curve simply because most of us are accustomed to button-mashing Hack'n'Slash RPGs

Frustrating at times yet fun and addicting

If Atlus decides to make a sequel, and adds more story to the game it'd be a complete game. Also note, this game has no pause and manual save but it automatically saves. If you need a break, just open your menu, scroll around, close menu, look for the...

Controls well, great gameplay and atmosphere, blue phantoms are great if you need help (online only, I drop blue eye stones a lot to help especially on stage'll know why if you play), messages left by other players (online only)

Story is minimal, not for those who like to play on easy mode (not really a con, more of a notice)
