Devil May Cry HD Collection

Sliding across the bar room floor, gun in hand, pizza in mouth, shouting “WOOHOO!” Yes, this is the Dante I remember. Before Ninja Theory attempt to recreate one of the PlayStation 2's most influential franchises, Capcom is giving us one more glimpse...

DmC: Devil May Cry

Dante gets a reboot. But is it still Devil May Cry?

Excellent combo chain system. Not as unforgiving as Devil May Cry 3. Dante carries everything with him, so no deciding what to take and leave behind before missions. Limbo has some crazy visuals.

Too much platforming; Devil Trigger is no longer fun to use

DmC: Devil May Cry

They Live or watch The Daily Show , then you have seen these Occupy Wall Street type topics, handled much better.  Still,  they do not detract from the part of the story concerned with evil demons, so it is easy to look past them. The game looks really...

DmC: Devil May Cry

Stuffed with cool weapons and foes to keep you going for hours the game feels fresh and a great improvement over previous installments, good for new-comers and fans alike, levels encourage exploration, great soundtrack and good voice acting, fabulous...

Bosses could've been slightly more challenging, aside from the sporadic frame-rate drop during a few cut-scenes and the fact that the main campaign is a bit short, there really isn't any other downside we can think of that would spoil the fun for us.

In a nutshell, I played Dmc once and I want to play it again. There are few games I can say that about nowadays.

DmC: Devil May Cry Review (PS3)

Does this stylish action-heavy reboot demand your attention?

Smooth, stylish combat that never gets old., Great writing that does humor surprisingly well., Dante is actually quite likable., Plenty of awesome weapons and upgrades.

Dated level design., Platforming can be a bit spotty at times..., ...and having to readjust the camera doesn't help., If you can't get over his look, then you won't like this game

The stylish combo-driven combat, The top-notch level design, Finding collectibles and testing your mettle in challenge missions

The lack of enemy variety, Imaginative bosses don’t test your skill, Lackluster story feels like a missed opportunity

"...the combat excels, rivaling the best that the action genre has to offer." "...while DmC has some slick demons to slay, you'll encounter most of them within the first half of the game." "...you'll marvel in awe as static environments transform into...

Devil May Cry (Xbox 360) Review

Devil May Cry is an absolutely fantastic game. It's everything I wanted in a Devil May Cry reboot. Dante is just as awesome as ever, the weapons are a lot of fun to use, and the enemies are a lot of fun to fight. Devil May Cry was one of the innovators...
