With assured storytelling, great combat, and imaginative design, DmC: Devil May Cry is a fun reboot, despite some frame rate issues and audio bugs.

Tight, enthralling, and deep combat ; Big variety of weapons and enemies ; Imaginative demon designs ; Convincing voice acting ; Reboots the series without compromising its soul

Erratic frame rate issues, audio bugs, and texture pop-in ; Boss battles aren't nearly as fun as regular combat ; Ending doesn't live up to the rest of the story

Dante's back and he's got a grudge to settle with the Demon World, come join Games Xtreme to see if this latest reboot to the franchise makes us cry or not.

DmC is a worthy game to bear the franchise title and with solid graphics, excellent combat and a pretty neat story – it has solid replay value for anyone who wants to get the best scores and all the combat moves as well as beat the hardest difficulties.
