Dragon Age II Review

Visually impressive; remarkable story-telling; improved combat skills.

No free camera during combat; limited scope.

Dragon Age II: Legacy

“Legacy” comes from humble beginnings: Varric, our dwarven narrator, tells Cassandra, a Chantry seeker, that he didn't tell her about Hawke's excursion into the Vimmark because he “didn't think it was important.” An inauspicious start for the first...

Great new character, Additional Dragon Age lore, Felicia Day.

Short, Dry combat, Little strategy required.

Dragon Age II

It may make a terrible first impression, but I grew to love it.

Excellent writing; story delivers in the end; some refinements to the leveling up system make character building easier; much of what made the first game great is still present; tons of replay value

Numerous nuisance-level bugs; the explorable world is much smaller; story starts very slow, a lot of Mass Effect influence makes the franchise seem less unique.

“Dragon Age II” – (PS3)

Hours of game play, including valuable side quests, Rich story supported by well developed characters, "Dragon Age II" looks and sounds stunning, The "acts" are broken up with a enjoyable story involving a dwarf and the chantry, Hours of game play,...

Over-simplifying things such as the dialog streamlined game play too much, The game isn’t really a sequel nor is it entirely a new title, instead it falls somewhere in between, You’ll spend the majority of your time in one city, instead of seeing more...

“Dragon Age II” takes players back into the “Dragon Age”, universe which is packed with magic, monsters and of course dragons. But don’t be fooled, it’s not really just a sequel. It’s a brand new adventure, with a new hero, a new land, and a completely...

Dragon Age II Review

Dragon Age II is great hack and slash RPG goodness, giving gamers more of the same great stuff. The increased pace in combat and branching conversation choices alone will prove worthy to keep gamers playing on.

Constant annoying glitches, repetitive points of exploration, crafting system seems unimportant and unnecessary.

DA2 is a fantastic value, many different ways to play the game and a lengthy completion time.
