Dragon Age Origins: Awakening Review

Dragon Age: Origins was easily the best RPG for 2009. Awakenings is its first real expansion, and we'll tell you whether it's worth the money for fans of the game.

Dragon Age had me really get in touch with my inner D&D, and the Awakening expansion pack just furthers it. Being able to level up higher, finding and using rare and powerful equipment, and fighting the Darkspawn, this expansion pack adds to the fun....

Dragon Age Origins: Awakening Review

Awakening adds tons of depth to an already riveting adventure.

Dragon Age Origins: Awakening is proof that BioWare is one of the better role-playing/action game makers around. Even though it doesn't address the original's faults or expand the gameplay to new heights, there's more than enough new content (talents,...

Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening (Xbox 360) Review

The archdemon is defeated, but the Hero of Ferelden still has work to do. Warning to the sensitive: contains minor spoilers.

Despite being labeled an “expansion,” Awakening can feel like a standalone title. The disc is needed to play (for console, at least), and while you may import a file from Origins, you can't travel between the new and base maps. Don't expect to find...

The first retail expansion for Dragon Age: Origins is a pretty good, though glitchy, effort.

Dragon Age: Origins : Awakening

Set in the events after your bloody struggle with the Archdemon of Dragon Age: Origins, the expansion – Awakening – released by BioWare pits you against the task of ridding Ferelden of the darkspawn completely. Your victory against the Blight did not...

Dragon Age: Origins' expansion, Awakening, gives you 20+ more hours of an experience that entails characters with depth and a captivating storyline that picks up and expands in a very unique way from the original game. While the gameplay may not feel...

The first official expansion pack to 2009's Dragon Age: Origins features a new land to explore, more moral choices to make, and an assortment of added spells, items, specializations, and abilities to enhance your party. Import your character from the main

I am glad I got it, but...

I do have issues with this game, it was in bad need of a patch to fix the issues with some items not coming over from the original. Starfang, the dragon blood armor, and final reason staff are the examples I have tried and had fail on me. There are...

Not enought Bang for your Buck!!!

A price of $30(US) would have been far more acceptable than $40(US). The game is simply too short. The story is decent at best, and the game is glitchy at times. I finished it on my PC and experienced about 3 crashes. Now, I know three is probably...

Guess I'll wait for them to patch it in the coming weeks before picking this one up. Now to get off my game pile and get around to actually finishing origins. If only they buffed up warrior and rogue in the original game I would be more inclined to...
