Works well

Make sure you have the sensors installed in the correct way, which is actually rather simple to do correctly.

The exercises are appropriately challenging, the graphics are fine, the music is good and can be customized. Keeps track of nutrition, other forms of exercise. Has a online link to groups. Can select ready made work outs, a workout plan (9 weeks) or...

Sometimes it will not pick up a low movement exercise, like when the leg does not move much. On some exercises, the narrator says move right leg, but the video is doing the left leg. One star removed

For those who have sensor problems

For those who have problems with the sensor, they won't work if you put them upside down. Now that I've found this it detects my movements flawlessely.

Good workout

Poor instructions

Great Workout!

I think this thing is great! No trip to the gym, and the workout is very challenging. If you want to work on your balance, or do yoga get wii fit (which I did for a year). If you are self motivated, and want to kick it up a notch this can do it. Also...

Good workout! Sensors work fairly well. Levels of intensity to choose from. It is really pushing my limits (I'm 53 and in decent shape). Keeps track of calories burned, and heart rate! Can track your progress easily. This is what wii fit should have been

I'm sore everyday! lol Seriously sometimes the sensors don't register (kick-ups, tricep extensions) which can get frustrating because you over exercise attempting to get it to work, and wear your self out on that one exercise. There has been a software...

It's SO close to awesome . . .

So the workout starts, and I'm pretty happy with it. The monitors do NOT do a direct one-to-one feedback to the game. It lags big time, and I'm guessing the game is doing a lot of guesswork to make it interactive. This gets really apparent when you hit...

It works. I've lost almost 10 lbs in 2.5 weeks, and I feel great

There is at least one exercise out of the 20+ exercise set that won't register

Makes You Sweat!

I'm glad I picked up EA Active 2. It has gotten me out of the chair and working out 4 days a week. I find the "9 week" program motivates me to keep to my workout schedule and the totals let me know how many calories I've burned, how many miles I've...

Guided and varied workouts keep each session fresh and exciting. The program carries you through warm up, exercise and cool down. Combine this with some free weights and you have a workout routine that will keep you sweating and help burn the calories

The sensors can be...picky at times. I occasionally have to adjust the leg band to make sure it picks up all my movements. Having said that I find that I need to adjust less the more times I workout because I've gotten used to the "sweet" spot that the...

Good and Bad

EA - you can do better than this. Disappointed as this could have been great.

I do find myself using this - more than a gym membership because of overhead of travel, parking, etc ; When the sensors work, it's engaging and a good workout

Sensors are a problem - I would hope EA fixes this via a program patch ; Although I am less than 8' from receiver, I get poor sensor response on some exercises, such as soccer runs and soccer targeting (right side lunges register only 50% of the time,...

works well

I have only had this for a week, but i do enjoy it so far. the game would be a lot better with some wii sports games built in. all in all, if you want a good workout, but dont want to go to a gym, this is a good buy

Pros: Its a good way to get in shape. i get a pretty good workout using it

Cons: So far the only con i have is the sensors not working correctly all the time ; I also think there should be a sensor for each leg, not just the right leg ; the software could use some updates ; 1. you should be able to have multiple users on the...

High defect rate

This looks to be a great way to get in shape without having a gym nearby - if it worked

The parts have a high defect rate. I called EA about my busted USB Receiver and the customer representative informed me that this was a common issue with the PS3 version. doesn't cover warranties for EA, so you will have to talk to EA to get...
