Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli (PlayStation 3)

A racing game focused entirely on one car manufacturer seems like a bit of an anachronism nowadays, and System 3's Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli certainly feels like a throwback to another era. While most other recent racers feature a large roster...

Ferrari Challenge: Trofeo Pirelli

An exotic car that fits directly in your pocket. While big brother consoles have always been a great playground for the driving genre, handhelds have struggled to qualify. This is...

Solid visuals ; Excellent tutorial mode ; Surprisingly in-depth

No online modes ; Card mode is disappointing ; Feels limited

Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli (PS3) Review

Does Ferrari Challenge get the checkered flag or does it get stuck in the pit?

Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Review for the PS3

The “Prancing Stallion” shows its horsepower… and its freedom from physics.

Lots of Ferraris; Good variety of locations

Funky physics; Few racing sim details; Aggressive and idiotic AI

Like an impressionist painting of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race, Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli has all of the broad strokes and suggestions of a great racing game, but with none of the minute and necessary details. As any fan of racing games knows,...

Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Review

Ferrari Challenge doesn't offer much beyond its impressive vehicles

For the players who love the Ferrari brand to death and want a game that demands every ounce of patience they possess, there might be something valuable hidden within Ferrari Challenge. But know that most players will not be able to find it.

Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli

Is this all torque and no trousers?

Made by fans for fans ; Slick and generally satisfying ; Cars carry beautiful momentum

Only Ferraris ; Strangely sterile feeling ; A bit tough to pick up

Once you’ve turned the driving aids off, you can experience every twitch and engine bellow, and the act of driving becomes rewarding. There even comes a point where you hit the brakes just before a sweeping bend and find you barely need to touch the...

Ferrari Challenge review

If you have ever read my reviews before, you should know that I am a race game enthusiast. Which is why it is disappointing to see so few racing games get released and then succeed on the Nintendo DS. As great of a system as the Nintendo DS is, the...

As much as I love racing games, I couldn't come to love this one. There are too few redeeming qualities to offer much praise for Ferrari Challenge. The gameplay is overly generic and lacks creativity that the tutorial strangely enough actually...

Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli

Ferrari Challenge brings sim racing to the Wii, but it's hardly the best racer on the system.

There's a fair amount of racing to be had, and the track designs and layouts are pretty solid stuff, even if they feel a little unforgiving at first. There's a few events that seem to carry on for too long, and it can be a bit easy to blow past your...

If you like racing games, you will love this game

this game is challenging, the braking is tough in particular. You need to become familiar with the tracks so you don't go off course and lose the race. This game has fun tracks and has a great driving feel.

one of the best driving games on the ps3

you can hit a wall at 100 at mph and your car will not get alot of damage

Consumer review by:

Fun game

The Ferrari Challenge is a decent overall game. Ferrari keeps up to it's name with the cars, but isn't as fun as lets say Burnout Paradise City. I would get it though if you have the extra dough.

Cars are beautiful

Graphics could be better
