God of War Origins Review

Two PSP greats are coming to the PS3 with Trophies, HD visuals and so much more. This is God of War Origins.

God of War Origins collects two of the best PSP games and gives them all the PS3 treatment -- HD visuals, 3D options, Trophies and DualShock controls. It also acts as a time lapse experiment for players to get a really good look at how a developer...

God of War: Origins- PS3

It's impossible to complain about a disc that includes two enthralling HD remakes, especially if you want to play through all of Kratos' adventures in one sweep. This is very much the God of War we all know and love, and it's great to finally witness...

God of War: Origins- PS3

God of War [Origins] isn't as impressive as the original HD pack due to not including the modern classic that is God of War 2, but these two PSP games still stand up well on the PS3. The HD remastering has been handled extremely well, and thanks to the...

While the faults in their handheld origins are accentuated by their journey to the PS3, these are still incredibly strong entries in the God of War series, worth playing by the initiated and uninitiated alike.

If you love God Of War, then this package is a no-brainer. If not, however, then it's probably worth checking out the original God Of War Collection, as [Origin's] status as a loving port of PSP titles isn't the best introduction to the series.

God of War: Origins- PS3

For someone like me who's feeling a bit of franchise fatigue at the moment, [it] makes me wish I had stumbled onto this collection a few years down the line rather than less than a year after Ghost of Sparta shipped, which itself was less than nine...

God of War: Origins- PS3

Independently, Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta were standout efforts that helped make a name for Ready At Dawn. When you put them together in the Origins Collection, you get two amazing and upgraded adventures in one $40 package that no fan of...

Taken together, the games make for a slick, compelling package that offers a much more attractive way to play two important chapters of the God of War series.
