Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (Xbox 360)

For those of you who are pressed for time--or simply hate to read--here's an abridged review of the latest Guitar Hero: If you like Aerosmith, you'll like this game. If you don't like Aerosmith, you will not like this game. Even dedicated fans of the...

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is the first in what is sure to become a long line of band-centric Guitar Hero experiences. Imagine Guitar Hero: Metallica, Guitar Hero: AC/DC, Guitar Hero: The Beatles. The possibilities are endless. Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is a...

Obviously your enjoyment of Guitar Hero: Aerosmith will depend largely on your appreciation for the band's music, but there are other factors, namely its price point, that make a purchase hard to justify. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of the...

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith

The Guitar Hero franchise is quickly becoming synonymous with music-based games and Activision is certainly cashing in on the phenomenon. Ever since the gigantic success of GH 3 the company...

Lots of fixes to the formula ; Great if you love Aerosmith ; Excellent note charts

Omission of a few must-have songs ; Sometimes feels like glorified DLC ; Boss battles still suck

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith

There is a multiplayer mode, but it isn't available in career mode. This limits multiplayer to quickplay mode, which isn't really a bad thing since I've found most of my Guitar Hero multiplayer sessions centered around quckplay mode.

Good track list ; Must-own for Aerosmith fans ; Only one boss battle

Can’t import tracks to another Guitar Hero title, making multiplayer parties stall with constant disc swapping ; Not enough for people who aren't Aerosmith fans ; Still has a boss battle

If you are an Aerosmith fan, pick up this title. You’ll enjoy it and get some life out of it. If you’re not too big on Aerosmith, it might be worth renting or borrowing from a friend, but I can’t recommend it to non-Aerosmith fans. The artist-specific...

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith Review

With two different versions of the game available, most people that own a previous "Guitar Hero" game are opting out for just the game itself. While other fans of Aerosmith are grabbing up the bundle with the Gibson Les Paul guitar, the game, and some...

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith - Review

When did Guitar Hero become the new 'Madden', offering track updates with each passing iteration rather than innovation? With rumors of Metallica and Van Halen branded titles on the way, get used to it. If you have played any Guitar Hero titles at this...

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith

With last year's Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s, RedOctane and Activision set themselves up to release more "supplemental" titles using the base Guitar Hero engine. The second entry in what is sure to be a long line of spinoffs, Guitar Hero:...

Can Love Bloom in an Elevator?

Well, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is here. Care to see what we thought?

Better in some key areas but not quite as strong overall, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith shows progress, but the focus of the series means that, yes, you'll have to be an Aerosmith fan to really enjoy the game.

When developer Neversoft first announced it was working on this, gamers, hacks and pundits everywhere scoffed at the idea that a Guitar Hero game based around the career of one band could possibly work. Call it a social experiment, as it will be...
