Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

Good times in the prehistoric era. It is hard to imagine, but before entering myself into the world of gaming journalism I rarely touched a game aimed specifically at the...

Lots of variety ; Smooth controls ; Shoot 'em up level

Very short ; No co-op

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

Ice Age may be kid-friendly, funny, and faithful to the movie, but it's also repetitive and over too quickly.

Varied gameplay ; Genuine laugh out loud moments ; Great voice acting from the original movie cast ; Authentic character animation

Only one very easy difficulty level ; Weak multiplayer

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

A fun romp through the Ice Age universe for all ages.

The level layouts are pretty varied from location to location, and the game is divided up into two sections based on the overworld ice that plagues the planet at the moment, and the hidden tropical paradise that the characters discover midpoint in both...

Packed with color ; Core platforming is well developed ; Won't frustrate youngsters

Unexciting multiplayer offerings ; Way too easy ; Too many cutscenes

It falls short of an unqualified recommendation at full-price because of a difficulty curve that’s more or less flatlined, and the sometimes glacial (as in ‘ice age’, ha!) pace of the action. But it’s never boring, and doesn't that count for a lot?

Fans of the Ice Age movie franchise will find plenty to like in the Dawn of the Dinosaurs game. All of the main characters, as well as secondary characters like the Dodo birds, are present in the game, as are most of the voice actors from the film. My...

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs - PS3

I picked up Ice Age for 5 bucks in hopes of an easy Platinum (Which I got) but I was Surprised to

Easy Platinum in just 6 hours; Wide variety in gameplay types

Only con I can think of is that I actually wish the game was longer
