inFamous: Festival of Blood

With Halloween here it's the perfect time of year to jump into some horror games and scare the pants out of yourself. Sucker Punch decided to go

Infamous 2 builds on the idea Dead Rising started and released a great downloadable game that was a toned down version of the main game but still has a lot of great content. Never before has it been so much fun to be a vampire and on top of that, a...

Video Review: Sucker Punch Steps Up The Superhero.

Fantastic review. I'm very interested, and now even moreso (except the underground sections suck something awful)

Sucker Punch are the developers for some of my favorite Playstation 2 titles including their amazing work with the Sly Cooper franchise. These games

Infamous is a huge game, not only in size but also a huge game for the Playstation 3. This is a console that is still searching for identity and for a game to really surprise people and this is a game that does just that. Infamous may not be on...

There are only two real reasons to dislikeinFAMOUS before you start really nitpicking. One is that the randomly-generated battles occasionally hit you with a nearly-inescapable catch-22, such as fighting more than one guy at once who has a shotgun. Any...

That's more along the lines of a warning than an actual point against inFAMOUS, though. It's got far more good points than bad, and is one of the reasons to own a PlayStation 3. A lot of the problems I have with it are just rookie mistakes, and I'm...

One of my personal favourite series on the PlayStation 2 was Sucker Punch Production's Sly Raccoon. The games were quality action platform games, with a good dose of stealth. The games had an endearing charm about them which was mostly created by the...

It would have been a comfortable option for Sucker Punch Productions to have created a Sly Raccoon sequel for their first game on the PlayStation 3 but instead they made the bold decision to give us something completely different. It's a decision...

Cool karma system helps to lift inFAMOUS above its pedestrian roots

Awesome arsenal of superpowers, huge game world, great presentation

Mundane plotting, frustrating combat

inFamous has its fair share of faults, but there's still plenty of fun to be had; especially for action fanatics. Whether you elect to be hero or villain, the gameplay holds up well.

What would you do with superhuman powers? Sucker Punch's latest title, inFamous, poses the question. A humble bike messenger, Cole is at the epicentre of a blast that devastates Empire City endowing him with great power. What should he do?

However these issues dim in comparison to what the game offers. With an intriguing storyline, truly open world and enthralling combat inFamous is well worth a good and an evil play through.

Other than last year's ground-breaking LittleBigPlanet, there's been a surprising trend in big hitters of late to buck invention. Most would take that as criticism – after all, alongside social gaming, innovation seems to be the buzzword of the...

Great game!

The game develops the character slowly, which really gives you a feel for what he can do. I enjoyed the fact that the game also has fast paced missions and open world exploration capability. Exploring the city from top to bottom with the high quality...

Product Specifications

A massive explosion rips through six square blocks of Empire City, leveling everything and everyone in its path. At the center of the blast crater a lone man has survived the event and has been changed forever. From the creators of the award-winning Sly Cooper series, Sucker Punch brings you inFAMOUS, the first open-world action-adventure title exclusively for the PlayStation 3 system. Players will experience what happens when a real person suddenly starts developing super powers. Will they exact revenge, protect the innocent or do little of both? These are the situations gamers will face when immersed inside a richly interactive and organic living city. A place where actions create broader reactions in the citizens and landscape around them. inFAMOUS lets players unravel an evolving mystery, experience fame and/or infamy and battle powerful, iconic villains... all the while feeling what it is like to become a modern day superhero.
