James Bond 007: Blood Stone on Playstation 3

Simply Shaken and Stirred

Blood Stone is a straightforward and plain 3rd person experience and is hard to recommend beyond a weekend rental. But this weekend rental should be an enjoyable one, although shortly lived.

James Bond 007: Blood Stone Review

Stylish combat and white-knuckle driving make this an enjoyable James Bond adventure, despite some pacing issues.

Solid shooting mechanics and slick melee combat ; Driving sections are a blast ; Great production values ; Globe-trotting story allows for lots of environmental variety

Gets off to a very slow start after the prologue ; Throwaway multiplayer ; Gadget sections are simply filler

James Bond 007: Blood Stone PS3 Review

007 finally returns, however, instead of opting for the silver screen, Bond jumps into our TVs as Bizarre Creations brings us James Bond 007: Blood Stone. Featuring the current incarnation of Bond (Daniel Craig) and the current head of MI5 (Dame Judy...

authentic voice acting using the current generation actor roles ; car sections rather good

average shooter at the core ; multiplayer lobbies generally empty ; one hit kill melee action in MP too annoying

Neither shaken nor stirred

Im glad I rented this game instead of buying it, as it's just rubbish. It is way too repetitive, short and easy. You just end up running into a given area , hide behind an object, kill maybe 20 enemies with no effort at all, move on, do the same; do a...

James Bond 007: Blood Stone

Not a bad title, if not a little short, but still fun. Well worth a rental (just don't buy it as it's not worth the money).

Mixed feelings

Let me start by saying that in some ways this game delivers, but it's the sum of the parts that is disappointing. The graphics and backdrops during gameplay look excellent and have a gritty feel to them, but cutscenes look like something from a PS2....
