Killzone 3 (PlayStation 3)

Like its predecessor, Killzone 3 is immediately striking for its gorgeous landscapes and glowing lighting, which provide a hostile, not-quite-familiar backdrop to the heart-pounding first-person firefights that often occur on the planet of Helghan. But...

The Killzone series has always been billed as Sony's answer to Halo. Whatever they were doing, Sony was going to do it better with Killzone. With three titles now out of the gate, can it be declared a success? Killzone does many things right; the...

Killzone 3 will not disappoint fans of the series. Those who know what to expect are going to get what they want, albeit with "minor" flaws in the design and presentation. Why they chose to limit the co-op to an offline split screen design most will...

The ISA and Helghast battle has never looked as beautiful as it does in the newest Killzone 3 game. At a little small convention called E3 (some of you may have heard of it), I was in the audience at the Sony Press Conference, and I got the witness...

To be honest, it's all a bit of a mess. By the time you've done trying to care about the characters or grown weary of being shunted from one location to the next, you might be forgiven for throwing in the towel. Killzone 3 attempts to maintain your...

The most depressing thing about the 10 chapters in the Killzone 3 campaign is that it can be beaten in about 4 to 5 hours of game time and the experience seems more linear than Killzone 2, not to mention about half as long. The scripted material also...

Great animations, environments and most importantly, explosions. Killzone 3 is stunningly gorgeous at times, but then at other times it suffers from slowdown and some pretty bad hiccups.

What I would want for Killzone is pretty simple, unlimited ammo, health and speed. I'd really want an option to easily heal opponents and have them heal you because as you play through, you're sure to die...a lot.

Back in 2009, we finally got our hands on Guerilla Games? highly anticipated Killzone 2. That game came with a great deal of expectations, but we here at Gamer Limit feel as though it delivered on the goods and then some

Killzone 3 is one of the most intense and polished shooters on the market and comes highly recommended.

The story may disappoint you but squaring off against the Helghast is still remarkably satisfying. "

It's bloody. But pretty, too.

On the upside, Operations mode ports a few of the campaign’s big moments into excellent multiplayer, while the new guerilla-warfare mode offers frantic objective-based team deathmatch. The visuals shine in massive maps, and the character-class...

As I have explained earlier in this review, the campaign is fairly standard in length when compared to most titles that have recently released. You could venture back through the game if you wish to tackle higher difficulties and shed more life in the...

Superb single player campaign throughout; Plenty of online maps, modes, ranking and more; Graphically and audibly rich for the eyes and ears

Assigned buttons needed changing (never a fan); Single campaign over all too quickly; Some cut scenes should have been playable

Killzone has been a renowned multiplayer game for PlayStation gamers over the years and in its third outing of the franchise its online part of the game is truly fulfilled here too. Be ready to have your bottom handed to you on a platter from many kids...
