Kung Fu Rider

If you replaced the words Kung Fu Rider with One Trick Pony then you wouldn't be going too far wrong in a game that inspires little.

Kung Fu Rider

It is common knowledge that quintessentially Japanese games have a reputation for truly terrifying me in copious amounts. SCE Japan Studio has long been responsible for inflicting such terror thanks to a long list of uncomfortably bizarre titles...

Kung Fu Rider is a lot of things, but entertaining certainly isn't one of them - weird, boring, repetitive, frustrating and ultimately pointless would be much closer to the mark.

Charming kookiness that quickly feels like an amateurish motion control action game.

Kung Fu Panda

There are two heralds of summer here at Digital Entertainment World, being distracted from DVD reviews by awesome summer blockbusters in theaters, and then there are the crappy games those blockbusters spawn. While I still maintain that most of these...

Decent action game ; Both offer experiences that stand alone as games, not just as movie tie-ins

Some control issues for both games ; Nothing in depth enough to make for a long term experience

These are actually decent games that are tied into a movie, and a kids one at that, I'm still reeling from that fact alone. That really is impressive in itself, but if the kids are looking for more Kung Fu Panda, this game is worth the investment.

Game Review: Kung Fu Panda

I haven't touched a movie-based game since Spiderman: The Movie: The Game came out. I still remember beating the game and enjoying the ending, only to realize that the final cut scene was ruining the ending of the movie before the flick even came out!...

A rewarding kiddie cash-in! How so?

Great graphics for a cash-in ; Fun multiplayer scrapping ; Minigames to unlock

Crap voices ; Cliches galore ; Premise not for everyone

Even better, the movie’s martial arts theme has allowed Kung Fu Panda to double as a stupidly fun beat-‘em-up with charming and varied characters to control, and a huge helping of multiplayer arenas and minigames to unlock as you play. If the film...

Their Kung Fu is Strong

Not all licensed kids' games have to be bad. Luxoflux proves it with Kung Fu Panda.

Kung Fu Panda just shows that some keen design self-restrictions, a willingness to mix things up and an approach to visuals and sound that roundly reject the idea that they have to be pared down just because they're a kids game. The game feels like it...

I actually liked playing this game.  I know, I know - it's a movie game and we usually groan at these things (outside of X-men titles) but this one was pretty good.  The graphics for PlayStation 3 with Kung Fu Panda were really good on 1080p, and the...

Kung Fu Panda

Well now, show me a tie-in video game to a movie and I'll show you a piece of ad marketing just to make money off of the film.

Kung Fu Panda is a fun game that shows very good attention to level design and creative game making. You don't have to be a kid to enjoy this one folks because it will appeal to a wide audience.
