L.A. Noire (PlayStation 3)

L.A. Noire's absorbing investigations and intoxicating sense of style make it an unforgettable journey through the seamy side of the City of Angels.

L.A. Noire

This is the city. The Los Angeles of 1947 is the setting of Rockstar Games' lates opus,L.A. Noire, and all of it's post-war splendor is in full force. Junkies, thieves, hookers and murderers line the streets with reckless abandon and some even carry...

All in all, an absolute treat for the eyes and the ears... that is if you can stomach the content. Anyone interested in L.A. Noire must understand that this is a game for an adult audience. The grisly crime scenes can be very off-putting to some, and...

L.A Noire is, at the very least, a kind of game that has never been seen before. Taking you back to glamorous 1940's Los Angeles, the player steps into the gumshoes of Detective Cole Phelps, a World War Two veteran, as he rises through the ranks of the...

L.A. Noire

I have always been a fan of the film noire and all the detective movies that have came out over the years, so when I heard Rockstar was releasing L.A. Noire; a game that attempted to tackle this genre, I was very excited like many people. After seeing...

L.A. Noire

L.A. Noire is the type of game that begs to be played more than once. Much like any good mystery, Rockstar's newest blockbuster offers enough hidden clues and foreshadowing to warrant multiple playthroughs. After being thoroughly impressed by the Xbox...

Although L.A. Noire is great on both systems, it's best on the PlayStation 3. With improved performance, better frame rate and an added case, this is certainly the version of the game to get. The strong cast of characters, compelling storyline and...

L.A. Noire

L.A. Noire is an industry defining game; a game which if there's any good in the gaming industry, will go on to influence the way in which animation is created for years to come. Simply put, L.A. Noire could be one of the most important video games to...

L.A. Noire

Using a brand new technology called Motion Scan, L.A. Noire features incredible facial animations that you'll have to see to believe. Even better, the voice over work is simply top notch. 1940s Hollywood glistens just as it should.

That's not to say I wouldn't want cheats for the game though. I want super speed more than anything. The ability to chase down suspects faster than anything. And while I'm at it, how about a super jump cheat?

L.A. Noire

L.A. Noire's tale is a pretty lengthy one: in fact, it dates back nearly seven years, when it was announced in 2004. The game has been delayed more often than The Ocarina of Time, and has gone through many aesthetic changes to get to where it is today....

L.A. Noire may have a handful of gameplay faults, but overall, it's an incredibly engrossing experience you won't want to miss out on.
