LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1 to 4

Put on your robe and wizard hat, it's time to play Lego

Maintains the classic Lego humor from the previous games; gameplay is more streamlined and less frustrating; tons of collectibles; wide assortment of spells to utilize; exploring Hogwarts is a blast.

No online co-op; story could be confusing for those new to Harry Potter.

If there's no grass on the field, play Quidditch.

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 is a love letter to fans of the Boy Who Lived. The comedic cutscenes toying with canon, the hundreds of hidden things to find, and the general sense of a great LEGO game paired with a great series really makes this game a...

We have a strict policy at AG that if you look like the character in the game you have to play the game. Ok, we don't have that policy, but maybe we should? Either way, Matt adjusts his spectacles and takes a look at the latest in the uber-successful...

Harry Potter is awesome. Solid cast. Spell mechanism works well. Split screen is excellent. Same gameplay we know and love. Some really fun magic events

Random events occur from spells, occasionally obtuse puzzles, camera annoyances and a few bugs

Lego Harry Potter is a must for anyone with kids of gaming age, pretty much over about 5 years old, and anyone who wants to play with their kids. It’s worth stating one last thing, though. It’s still not as good as Lego Star Wars in many ways, and that...

It's Leviosa not Leviosar! ... noob.

Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 is very similar to past Lego games, but the addition of magical abilities makes it worthwhile for fans of both the Lego games and Harry Potter. Humour is out in full force and is as good as ever, making Lego Harry Potter a...

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4

Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 is a witty, endearing, wholesome and irreverent adaption of the films, but you don't have to be an avid fan of the series to enjoy Traveller's Tales romp through Hogwarts. Great family entertainment.

A very smooth difficulty curve. The interaction between characters and the variety of spells adds great depth to the puzzle-solving. Hogwarts is a joy to explore. Plenty of replayability

Some frustrations with targeting. The audio can get repetitive. Some unfortunate bugs

Family friendly.
