Mad Riders

Mad Riders is a new downloadable racing game from Techland, the makers of Dead Island and Nail'D, reminiscent of old arcade games. With over 45

Mad Riders is not a bad game. It has some truly fun moments that remind me of the best arcade racers. The unfortunate part is that there are a lot of games that are simply better than Mad Riders. The game is cheap enough, at $10, that those who are...

Mad Riders

ATVs are the perfect meeting point between motorcycles and cars, making for a fast but light vehicle that should be fun to control in a videogame. Yet, I can't think of any game that captured the appeal of ATVs without pandering only to gearheads. MX...

Techland have made a worthy follow-up to Nail’d, despite Mad Riders' quirks and faults. I’m a junkie for a good and fast arcade racer. Mad Riders is one of the first games to fit that bill in some time.

Progressions feels pointless ; Repeating tracks ; Lack of modes ; Stiff animations

Mad Riders (Xbox Live Arcade) Review

“Mad Riders”, from Techland, is an off-road ATV racing game focused on outrageous amounts of air and gravity defying tricks. The game's arcade nature offers players a genuinely fun racing experience, but repetitious track designs and a frustrating...

Tricks are easy and fun to pull off ; Multiplayer is fun and frantic

Inconsistent respawn system ; Lack of track variety ; Lack of online modes

“Mad Riders” is a game that has serious potentially but largely misses the mark. Pulling off tricks, getting huge air, and racing online is surprisingly fun. Unfortunately, the game’s bizarre respawn mechanics and repetitious tracks detract from the...

Mad Riders Review

A few hours into Mad Rider, the sense of familiarity that permeates the game starts to suffocate. It’s probably most reminiscent of underrated Wii launch title ‘Excite Truck’, but quite a bit looser and without that game’s more inventive...

Good, simple racing fun; Lots of courses and events; Going really fast over huge jumps

Can get a little messy and confusing when you’re going really fast; It gets repetitive; No split-screen
