Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2

It's Like?

The bottom line here is that this isn't nearly as good, fun, or as satisfying a game as the original from either an action standpoint, a role-playing standpoint, or just a comic book standpoint. It is less than its predecessor in just about every way....

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 allows gamers to take control of squads of some of their favorite heroes and villains in order to solve puzzles, beat the living daylights out of enemies, and venture forth into the unknown throughout a storyline based out...

More of the same action fans of the original know and love ; Plenty of content to wade through ; More superheroes to whet your appetite for superpowered team members ; Funny one-liners

Many superpowers are rehashes of others ; There aren't significant changes from the original game ; The storyline is a bit cheesy

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 isn’t an improvement in every way over its predecessor, but it’s more of the same campy action fans have come to expect. Since fans will demand change from a great formula and complain about subsequent changes, sequels are...

Uneasy Alliance

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 has buffed the familiar super-powered hack-n-slash to a brilliant sheen, but hasn't really added much else.

I'm also more than willing to admit that I still have a soft spot for these games. Repetitive and a bit mindless though they may be, it's still the best way to experience the what-if scenarios of Spidey and Deadpool trading quips outside of waiting for...

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 Fusion

Ultimate Alliance 2 takes place when many of the world's heroes were divided over the Superhuman Registration Act, a US law requiring all Supers to give up their secret identities and officially join forces with the US government. Understandably, many...

Another solid entry into the Marvel Universe, this action-RPG gives us another dose of the tried-and-true four-character slugfest. Nothing overly exciting here, but entertaining all the same.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2

Once again the Marvel Universe comes alive in a video game. With a wide variety of super-heroes for you to choose from, it's likely at least some of your favorites have made the cut. More importantly, is this a great Marvel game, good enough even for...

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 Review

The Civil War storyline really is sort of goofy, isnt it?

Solid controls; fusion powers are a neat idea; improved graphics; its still fun smacking guys around with superpowers

The story is weak; the dialogue options forced and get in the way of the fighting; some of the set pieces are thematically silly; fusion powers a bit samey; some weak characters; fewer power options

So the story is so-so and the RPG section watered down with limited development choices, weak voice acting and script writing. But you still get to beat up a lot (and I mean a lot) of bad guys and fight super villains using neat-o fusion powers. This...

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2

Marvel Ultimate Alliance was the follow up to the great RPG Brawlers X-Men Legends and its sequel Rise of Apocalypse. Instead of dredging the bottom of Marvel's mutant barrel, Marvel Ultimate Alliance expanded the games universe to include the entire...

Regardless of the platform Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is going to be a fun game. The 360 and PS3 versions offer a lot more on the visual and online side of things, but the Wii has extra characters and a mini game. This is  a treat for gamer and comic...

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 review for the PS3

Slappin' on the spandex skivvies.

Same great fun with some good tweaks; Great character roster; Fusion moves

Same old camera issues; Same old "where's my character?" issue
