NFL Tour

EA makes no attempt to present NFL Tour as anything more than it really is: a horrific videogame. A flimsy nine-page instruction manual is the first hint of trouble, especially when two of the pages are dedicated to warranty information. No credits are...

Multiplayer offers competitiveness

Empty gamplay ; Non-existent AI ; No replay value ; Seriously, I'm shocked EA released this

Even without "Reversals," NFL Tour is far too stripped down to offer anything beyond minimal enjoyment playing against a human opponent. The playbook consists of nothing more than a handful of short passes, long passes and runs, requiring overuse of...

New name, same game.

Where NFL Tour hurts the most is the lack of depth and complexity in the options themselves. You have Play Now, Exhibition, online play, and a NFL Tour mode where you make a player and try to make him a superstar. While this is supposed to be the heart...

NFL Tour

This flawed attempt to revive NFL Street in HD goes down in flames like Grossman at Super Bowl XLI.

Online multiplayer fairly lag-free and has decent matchmaking

Experience is largely joyless and broken, particularly the flawed gameplay

NFL Tour is devoid of fun.

NFL Tour is one of the worst video games I've played in some time. There's no way this game is worth $50 - even All Pro Football has more customization. This game isn't even worth a rental - you are much better off getting Blitz the League to satisfy...

Fun for a few hours, but the lack of challenge keeps this from being a pigskin classic.

Overall, NFL Tour is sort of like taking the Universal Studios Tour when the mechanical Jaws shark breaks down. You'll still have a good time, but you'll miss what makes it so much fun.

NFL Tour

For a few years now the NFL Street games have offered a decent simplified take on the sport. They have proved to be fairly popular and in the US at least, they have offered online play too. In Europe we have had to suffer versions of the games that...

NFL Tour is fairly mediocre by all accounts and it's a game that sits rather uncomfortably in the EA Sports catalogue. NFL Street was a wacky and contrasting game to the illustrious Madden NFL series. It wasn't perfect by any means but there was enough...

NFL Tour

Seeking a middle ground between the heavy simulation of its Madden franchise, and the sometimes over-the-top antics of its NFL Street series, EA Sports returns to the gridiron with the all-new NFL Tour. The game features the same seven-on-seven action tha

NFL Tour

NFL Street was a bit of a mixed bag in terms of reception. Those over the pond in the States seemed to lap it up, whereas most of the European press seemed to find it mildly entertaining but were mainly thrilled by the fact that they didn-t have to...

NFL Tour Review

There are awful games, and then there's NFL Tour. This atrocity of an NFL Street re-imagining manages to defile all our fond memories of the past series due to a seemingly constant string of poor development choices. Let's explore the painful depths of...

Somewhat playable offline multiplayer

Broken, lopsided gameplay too simplified for its own good ; Atrocious graphics ; Perhaps the most annoying announcer in the history of videogames

NFL Tour is amazing - at being a terrible game. Don't purchase this title under any circumstances whatsoever.
