I actually have the HT-R667 from the HT-S6100 System. Basically the same thing. It will make it's 2nd trip to the service center for HDMI failure within the 2 yr warr. peroid. On screen GUI will not come up at all anymore. Onkyo is horrible for...

I was amazed with the sound of this receiver, but only after calibrating it with Audyssey (without any problems). Without Audyssey the sound was just as flat as with my Yamaha RX-V361. Can't imagine using this without Audyssey.

It will take a little while to set this receiver up because there are so many settings to attend to. Although I tried it several times, I found the automatic calibrations from teh Audyssey feature to be innacurate and just not sound very good. I had to...
