The key reasons I chose to go with the SR705 was the 3 HDMI inputs and zone 2 power. It keeps the cabling a little better under control when there's only a single receiver to TV HDMI cable which i needed due to multiple switchers being used. Also it...

What can I say? I've had this AVR for almost 3 years now, and it has functioned as designed with no problems whatsoever. Contrary to what a few others have reported, this AVR has never experienced an excessive heat problem. The sound is good, though...

Great sound, Audyssey calibration a nice feature, plenty of I/O's
