Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13

Despite the ups and downs in both his personal and professional life, Tiger Woods can at least rest easy knowing that the video game bearing his moniker has been pretty consistent. Last year's version was a highlight since the stuffed shirts at Augusta...

There are moments where Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 really gets it right, and those moments are suitably impressive. The first time I holed out from a bunker I was pumping my fist just like the first time I ever did that in real life! It was pretty...

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 Review

EA's golf sim returns with some unexpected new strengths, but it brings some unwanted baggage along for the ride.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 knows what makes it great, and the Total Swing System is an authentic, excellent improvement. The meaningful new controls enable players to feel great about their skill while holding them accountable for their faults. Beyond...

Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 13 Review

Pst, want some coins?

Emphasis on realism; Analog controls replacing three-click swing; Online clubs; Clothing no longer tied to stats

Very slow progression system, very slow coin acquisition; Presentation looking dated

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 would have been a stellar sports title, with its new emphasis on realism and online clubs, if it traded its microtransactional model for a fairer coin system. No one likes buying a $60 title that thinks it's free to play. If you...

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 Review

The challenge for sports games is always to bring something new to the table every year. The rules of the sport don't change drastically over time, so developers really need to dig to create something that...

Fun to play ; Swing meter is great ; Create any shot you can imagine ; Very customizable

Minor technical issues ; It's hard to not overswing on putts ; Sometimes hard to see the ball or pin

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 review: The most wonderful thing about Tiger is, hes the only one

Remember how you'd take a swing in every Tiger of the last ten years, and just slam the left stick up hard enough to snap the bloody thing off? Yep, turns out you've been wasting your time; Tiger never took the speed of your swing into account until...

Very nice to look at ; Intuitive controls ; Feels like golf

Still takes a lot of practice

Perfection. Tiger 13 is so good it raises the question - what can EA's PGA Tour series do next, shy of personally jetting you to Augusta to play on Amen Corner itself?

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 Review

The Tiger Woods games have been much the same now for many years. But with a new swing mechanic, is Tiger 13 a lucky charm, or a broken mirror?

Tiger 13’s improvements to the gameplay are great, even if the tutorials for the new mechanics are worse than useless. However, the additions to the content are less than stellar, with a too-hard, and rather dull legacy mode, and lots of nasty paid-DLC...

Never Again

The game is decent, but the new putting system is horrible. The lack of a range to practice is beyond inexcusable, and the new EA in game rip off for extra courses continues. Avoid paying full price for this game.

Challenging ; Graphics

Poor Instructions

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13- PS3

The superior gamepad controls and enhanced Move support on the PS3 make the new game stand apart from its predecessor just enough to make it tempting, as long as you know going in that you're getting a mild upgrade on last year's model.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13- PS3

The meaningful new controls enable players to feel great about their skill while holding them accountable for their faults. Beyond that, Tiger 13 struggles to succeed. Its most substantial new mode, Tiger Legacy Challenge, is a dull waste, and making...

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13- PS3

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 improves on numerous areas from last year's game, but they're small, almost inconsequential-feeling areas. [...] EA Tiburon offers a well-done golf game, but also reinforces the idea that maybe golf isn't a sport that need an...
