Quantum of Solace

The Game: I don't really know what possessed me to pick up Quantum of Solace, the latest James Bond videogame, based on the hit sequel to Casino Royale. Everyone knows that 99 out of 100 movie-based video games are terrible. But what can I say? I'm a...

The Conclusion: People seem to be torn on the quality of Quantum of Solace, the latest Bond film. No one, however, is undecided about the quality of Quantum of Solace the video game. It's a dreary, repetitive affair that never makes you feel excited to...

Quantum of Solace

Good luck getting even double-oh seven hours of fun out of this one.

Beautiful environments; extremely faithful to source material; decent multiplayer modes

Incredibly short single-player game; repetitive combat scenarios; relies too heavily on generic button-pressing events

[E3 2008] Quantum of Solace

The first Bond sequel gets its first Activision video game counterpart.

We'll have more on the game in the coming weeks/months, but to whet your whistle just a bit, we've prepared some sexy new screens and movies of the game in action. Scroll up and give 'em a little clicky-poo. We'll be back with updates soon.

Quantum of Solace

On paper it sounds like a bright idea, developer Treyarch making a James Bond game using the Call of Duty 4 engine, until you remember that not since GoldenEye on the N64 has 007 had such a memorable assignment. On the other hand Daniel Craig has...

Although Quantum of Solace uses the same engine, it's not nearly as polished as Call of Duty 4. Obviously the art direction is decidedly different, but you can't help notice that character animations are stiff and the lighting is generally poor. There...

Quantum of Solace PlayStation 3 Review

Quantum of Solice just doesn't do justice to the source material.

Now if it had been targeted at female gamers, and had included the speedo, it might have been on to something. Hey, Lara Croft lets you replay her games with alternate outfits.

Quantum of Solace

Quantum of Solace is GoldenEye for a new generation and by far the best Bond game we've had in years. Praise really doesn't come much higher than that.

Initially, these takedown moves seem somewhat pointless, as generally if you can get close enough to a bad guy to grab him, it's easier to simply plug him in the head with your silenced P99. However, as you play through the game and the action gets...

Quantum of Solace- PS3

I loved this game, it was such a suprise. It has the cover system from Rainbow Six Vegas and the engine of Call of Duty 4/World at War and they blend together perfectly. The weapons are fun to use and the environments never get old. There is also the...

Quantum of Solace- PS3

Very surprised at how good this is, I'd all but given up on Bond games as nothing has come close to Goldeneye but this has restored my faith.Graphics and details are excellent, the game play and movement are how they should be and the voice overs from...

Quantum of Solace- PS3

Quantum of Solace is actually a very decent James Bond game... if you haven't played many FPS's since the days of Goldeneye and are looking for a modern update, this is certainly for you. Those avid gamers treated to the many advances in FPS games...
