Over the years, I have slowly become accustomed to reviewing all manner of games. Only recently have I found myself excited when the next animated adventure game rolls across my desk.

Rango's adventures are depressingly simple and fail to capture the quirky humour of the movie. A platformer with very little imagination and a propensity for repeating what works from earlier, more accomplished games.

It's very traditional, very solid and in gameplay terms doesn't offer anything new to the genre. Behaviour have, as mentioned, attempted to keep things fresh, but there's only so much they could do if their remit was to create a generic platformer.

Rango the game leaves off where the movie ended.So to understand this better you have to see the movie first [If you want to].Rango is fun to play.
