Section 8: Prejudice Review

The pieces are all there, But Section 8: Prejudice can't seem to fit them together into something more than sort-of interesting.

Section 8: Prejudice Review

Section 8: Prejudice explores well-worn territory, but a smart campaign and volatile competitive mode make this shooter rise above its generic aesthetic.

Long and varied campaign ; Lots of tools, weapons, and vehicles to mess around with ; Dynamic Combat Missions make competitive play an ever-changing experience ; Swarm mode offers a fun chance to team up with friends

Touchy aiming and vehicle controls ; Sporadic difficulty spikes in single-player

You have plenty of time to come to grips with your vast supply of weapons and vehicles in the lengthy single-player campaign. Unlike the original Section 8, which simply reused the multiplayer maps, this is a from-scratch adventure that does a fine job...

Section 8: Prejudice

Section 8: Prejudice doesn't do anything groundbreaking in its presentation, but with that being said, it also does most things very well. Environments, effects and pretty much everything looks rather impressive.

The trainer from cheathappens.com gives you the ability to use unlimited overdrive and jetpack, meaning you'll be able to zip around the battlefield with ease. This combined with the options for unlimited health, ammo and grenades and you're nothing...

Section 8: Prejudice (PC) MP Preview

We get an early look at Section 8: Prejudice from Game Designer Mark Yetter, as he takes us through the multiplayer and new Swarm Mode.

TimeGate CEO Adel Chaveleh has promised a more robust single-player experience this time around, actually referring to the first campaign as a “glorified tutorial” for multiplayer. Even so, Prejudice is best enjoyed online with and against other...

If this were a contest to see what downloadable game could look the most like a full retail title, the Section 8: Prejudice would be an impressive release. Prejudice certainly does a lot – it just doesn’t do very much well. With a few friends, the...

Section 8: Prejudice - (Xbox Live Arcade) Review

Section 8 used to be console game, but it became uncomfortable rubbing it's armor-clad shoulders up against the Halos and the Gears of Wars crowding the party. Halo was probably a little bit upset too, because Section 8 was wearing pretty much the same...

fun party game for hardcore gamers ; easy to jump in and play ; ability to have 2 or 3 local players join an Xbox Live online match

total lack of a singleplayer campaign ; little originality to keep gamers interested ; lack of balance between vehicle types ; too little content to warrant continual play

Despite the few abilities mentioned above, the whole experience still ultimately just blends in with all the other space marine shooters you have played before. It’s not a poorly built game, it’s a just a poorly conceived one. It lacks passion, and...

Section 8: Prejudice- PS3

Regardless of its status as a downloadable title, Section 8: Prejudice doesn't do enough well to make it a must-play. In the morass of other, better shooters, it feels destined to burn up in the atmosphere, rather than establish itself with a community.

Section 8: Prejudice- PS3

There isn't much that Prejudice doesn't do well. Just about every element of Section 8 has been improved in some way, resulting in a refined shooter that never fails to entertain.
